Annotations of Light in Eight Moments for Martin Heidegger’s Holzwege

 

 

Portfolio containing eight aquatints by Roberto Ciaccio and aphorisms from Martin Heidegger’s Holzwege (Off the Beaten Track).

Measuring 44.5 x 33 cm, the aquatints are all signed and numbered by the artist and printed on Hahnemühle paper by Giogio Upiglio in Milan.

The zinc plates are 50 x 38 cm

The colophon is signed by the artist and the publisher, Edizioni Grafica Uno, Milan, 1990–92.

Edition of  99 impressions plus xxx containing a suite of the edition printed on Duchêne-Colombe paper (65 x 50 cm).

The work is present in the permanent collection of the Prints and Illustrated Books Department of the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the permanent collection  of the Kupferstichkabinett, Staatliche Museen, Berlin; the Istituto Nazionale per la Grafica, Rome; the Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense, Milan; and other important institutions.
